Well-supported Ata Rangi lands another win with courageous run at Cranbourne

posted in: Drives, News

Favourite Ata Rangi has won back-to-back races with a gutsy win at Cranbourne’s Sunday meeting.

The pre-race favourite had to do it tough, dropping back at the start and having to work around the field.

Trainer/driver Kyle Marshall piloted the gelding to the front, sitting outside pacemaker Where Is Woody, before letting him loose for the race to the post.

With the well-backed Scherger That making ground, Ata Ranga showed determination to reach the post with more than a metre to spare.
