Heavily-backed Can Be A Ruebe has carried her supporters to victory with a storming win in the Warragul Pacing Cup.
The mare and driver Kyle Marshall took control from the first circuit, moving from the second row at the start to loom up beside the leader with two laps of the Warragul track to go.
Marshall rated Can Be A Ruebe to perfection, sending her forward when her rivals were struggling to keep up, and she won by the comfortable margin of 5.3 metres.

Can Be A Ruebe’s win capped an excellent King’s Birthday Monday meeting for the Marshall stable, with Ata Rangi winning the previous event.
