The lightly-raced Claudys Hero will contest the $75,000 Group 1 NSW Trotters Derby at Menangle on Saturday.
The three-year-old colt lines up in a field of 11 in which the entire field boasts hot form leading into the future event.
Claudys Hero goes into the race with two wins at his latest starts, and has had a four-month spell since.
He’s had seven career starts so far, for two wins and two placings, and has earned A$9,240.
