Promising two-year-old Hugo Maguire heads to Auckland on Friday for his second race start, a $20,000 heat in the Breckon Farms Young Guns series.
The colt came sixth in his debut, a heat in the same series, and in a field of six, trainer/driver Kyle Marshall will be looking for improvement in the 10th event at Alexandra Park.
