A night of strong finishes by driver Kyle Marshall helped his supporters to a profitable night at Cambridge Raceway’s January 28 meeting.
Going into the meeting, TAB odds assessors judged the Cambridge trainer/driver was in for a good night – and so it turned out.
Before the first race, punters could get $3.30 fixed odds for Marshall to head the Driver’s Challenge.
His night in the sulky saw Marshall fight out the following race finishes:
Race 1: Demolition Man (2nd), paying $2.90 place.
Race 2: Suidelike Major (2nd), paying $1.50 place.
Race 3: Whooshka (3rd), paying $1.50 place (see main photo)
Race 4: Onedin Punter (1st), paying $7.40 win, $2.90 place.
Race 8: With Revenge (3rd), paying $3.20 place.
In addition, Marshall trained the runner-up to Onedin Punter in the fourth event, when Peter Ferguson got Itsthefinalcountdown up for second place.
