Smoken Ace will head to Melton on Saturday as the in-form Kyle Marshall Racing team look to turn his run of placings into victory.
The gelding lines up in a field of seven at Melton, where he’s run in the money at his last four starts.
He’s drawn the six lane at the start in the $17,500 event, and will be driven by trainer Kyle Marshall.
Fixed odds bookmakers have installed him as the pre-race second favourite, rating him a $4.50 shot.
