Stable debutant Aussie Muscle shows his strength with maiden win

posted in: News

Stable newcomer Aussie Muscle has justified his favouritism with a win in his first trip to the racetrack in almost two years.

Stepping out at Cranbourne, the four-year-old gelding was patiently driven by Josh Dickie who waited for his opportunity in the inside lane as the field of maiden trotters headed for home.

It was Aussie Muscle’s fourth career start but his first for the Kyle Marshall Racing stable.

Aussie Muscle … justified his favouritism.

He was well backed after two recent seconds at the trial track.

On the Australian tote, Aussie Muscle paid $2.50 for the win and $1.04 for the place. In New Zealand, Marshall supporters earned $2.40 and $1.30 at the TAB.

Stable starter Claudys Secret came home in fourth place.
