Youngster Smoken Ace will try to win his fifth race when the two-year-old colt lines up at Melton on Saturday (September 23).
The Kyle Marshall-trained pacer will go from the outside lane behind the mobile barrier when he competes in the $20,000 Renown Siverware 2YO Pace.
The colt is unbeaten after four starts, with wins at Ballarat, Geelong and Shepparton (2).
So far, the closest finish he’s had was his maiden win where he still won by more than 3 lengths.
His career earnings are almost A$26,000.
