Ace smokes them again as colt maintains unbeaten record with third victory

Unbeaten two-year-old Smoken Ace has won his third raceday start, leading from start to finish over 2100m at Geelong.

From the widest draw at the mobile, Smoken Ace’s driver Scott Ewen took the favourite to the front, putting pressure on second favourite No Notthebuttons who struggled to keep up.

Turning for home, the Kyle Marshall Racing-trained Smoken Ace was never going to be caught and travelled well to the line untested.

Smoken Ace paid $1.80 for the win and $1.20 for the place at the Australian TAB.
