Marshall name returns to winner’s circle in Cambriddge with Whooshka win

Five-year-old mare Whooshka has kept the Marshall name in the winner’s frame at the stable’s previous home track of Cambridge.

Whooshka, in the Kyle Marshall Racing team before the move from New Zealand to Victoria, won a mile race at Cambridge on July 20, 2023, trained by Kyle’s father David.

Driven by Zev Meredith, Whooska won easing down at the post.

The win provided connections with $6,000, taking lifetime earnings to $27,400 from her 28 raceday starts.

At the tote, Whooshka paid $5.30 for the win and $2.60 for the place.
