Son Of Mac has completed a hat-trick of wins to extend his unbeaten record since leaving New Zealand.
His latest win was over 2240m at Melton where he comfortably took out the $10,000 Swift Signs Mobile Pace to extend his career earnings to more than $95,000.
The three-year-old colt provided the stable with its sixth win since relocating from Cambridge in New Zealand.
Trainer/driver Kyle Marshall was careful to let Son Of Mac settle into his work, third and outside the leader, before taking him to lead halfway through the first lap.
Once in front, the short-priced favourite was never going to be beaten.
He hit the line five metres in front of outsider Melanion with the next best more than 11 metres away.
The win gave Marshall six wins and two placings from his last eight drives in the sulky.
Son Of Mac paid $1.04 for the win and $1.04 for the place at the Australian TAB.
