Son Of Mac returns to the scene of his last win when he lines up at Melton on Friday night (July 14).
The promising three-year-old is aiming to extend his winning streak to three since crossing the Tasman.
He bolted in at the same Melton track on July 7, over the same 2240m distance he’ll race over this week.

This time, he’s drawn 4 at the mobile barrier.
Son Of Mac, the winner of almost $90,000 from 13 raceday starts, arrived at his new Cranbourne stable with a solid reputation after running second in the Group 1 Northern Derby at Auckland’s Alexandra Park in March.
He’s now amassed a race record of five wins and three placings.
