Two youngsters have run second placings at the Cambridge workouts as they prepare for racing campaigns.
Bettor High and Son of Mac benefitted from the experience of racing over 2200m of the Cambridge Raceway circuit at the workouts on Saturday July 30, 2022.
They are among a group of promising two-year-olds bought last year and schooled at the Kyle Marshall Racing stables.
The unraced Bettor High ran second in the 2200 metre learners’ mobile pace.
The filly ran 1/2 length behind Mr President who ran a mile rate of 2-11.9, with the last 800m in 60.4 and the final 400m in 28.7.

Son of Mac ran second in the non-winners mobile pace over 2200m
He finished 3/4 length behind Dynamite Dez who ran a mile rate of 2-00.8 with the last 800m in 57.5 and the final 400m in 27.5.
