Sophie Jefferies will drive Wharewhiti in his sixth Australian start when the gelding lines up at Kilmore on Thursday night (July 6).
The five-year-old goes from lane 8 behind the mobile barrier in a 10-horse field.
Trained by Kyle Marshall Racing, Wharewhiti is having his second start at Kilmore, where he finished third in his last start on June 20, beaten by his former Cambridge stablemate Hugo Maguire.
He broke through for his maiden win at Shepparton on May 23.
KMR’s Sophie Jefferies is after her first win in Australia after breaking through for her first racetrack victory at Cambridge on June 22, driving the Ross Paynter-trained You Little Beauty.
