Lightly-raced gelding Saverio will have his first start from the Kyle Marshall Racing stable at Melton on Friday night.
The five-year-old will have his fourth career start when he lines up in the ninth event over 2240m.
One of his race rivals will be Lanning, having his second outing in KMR colours after a change of trainer in January.
Lanning came third at Cranbourne in the Marshall colours on January 26.
