Tennessee Honey has won a 2200m workout race at Cambridge Raceway as part of her preparation for her next raceday start.
Driven and trained by Kyle Marshall, the promising three-year-old took the lead early in the five-horse workout and stayed there till the finish, withstanding late challenges from a couple of older, more experienced types.
Tennessee Honey began her racing career in June with a first-up win in a two-year-old event, over 2200m at Cambridge Raceway.
She resumed for her second campaign on November 25, with a fifth-placing at Cambridge.
