Bach chasing back-to-back wins at Saturday’s Melton meeting

posted in: News

New Zealand pacer Bach will attempt to score his second win on Australian soil when he contests a $17,500 feature at Melton on Saturday.

The five-year-old gelding won at the same track over a mile on Saturday March 2.

This time he goes over 2250m, and has drawn the inside of the second row.

Bach crossed the Tasman to settle at the Kyle Marshall Racing stables ahead of the $100,000 Decron Gold Cup in mid-February.

However, he’s showing a liking for the Melton track, having also won a five-horse barrier trial there on January 30.
