Three-year-old Sky Rocket has won a workout at Cambridge Raceway as he prepares to return to the race track for a second campaign.
The bay colt, trained by Kyle Marshall Racing, has had three raceday starts, and was rested in October.
Driven by trainer Kyle Marshall, Sky Rocket dropped into the trail behind early leader Ziato.
With half a lap to go, Marshall pulled out Sky Rocket to sit outside the leader and in the run to the line, the colt showed determination to stay in front, edging out the fast-finishing Our Benson and Ziato in a tight finish.
