Son Of Mac faces his biggest test yet since arriving in Australia when he lines up in a $20,000 race at Melton on Saturday (August 12).
Son Of Mac has won his last three starts at Melton, showing a liking for the track, and he will go over the same 2240m course that’s provided his past wins.
However, he’ll have to overcome hot pot The Lost Storm, winner of 10 races from 12 starts, and $247,000 in career earnings.
Son Of Mac, to be driven by trainer Kyle Marshall, will start six wide at the mobile barrier, while The Lost Storm has drawn the second row.
