Last start winner Son Of Mac draws wide in $200,000 feature on home track

Promising three-year-old Son Of Mac has drawn wide at the mobile barrier in Friday’s $200,000 feature event at Cambridge Raceway.

The last start winner, trained by Kyle Marshall Racing, was drawn 8 but with an early scratching, moves into the 7 draw in the NZB Standardbred Harness Million race for colts and geldings over 2200m.

Arch rival Merlin, who came second to Son Of Mac at their last meeting, has drawn 11.

Son Of Mac is compiling an impressive race record, having won three of his eight starts for earnings of almost $44,000.
