Wharewhiti wins back-to-back workouts with another five-length win

posted in: News

Wharewhiti has scored another five-length win at the Cambridge workouts as he prepares to return to the racetrack after a year-long spell.

For the five-year-old bay gelding, it was his second win by that margin in as many trips to the workouts, having cleared out to win on January 28.

Driven by trainer Kyle Marshall, the bay gelding went straight to the front from the mobile and he never surrendered the lead. He powered clear in the final straight for an easy win.

Wharewhiti has not raced since February 2022 and has yet to break through for his first win, having had four career starts.

On January 28, Wharewhiti won a workout at Cambridge by five lengths.
